I haven't been with them for very long, I think somewhere in the realm of about 6 months now. I switched to them because I could get a much better rate for the exact same or better coverage. I happen to know personally the agent that I go through, and she has been great every step of the way.

The customer service has always been polite and thorough. When filing a claim for a fender bender they really took the time to explain the process. I did not have to do anything other than hand over the information and they handled everything. My premium also did not go up so that was a huge plus. Safeco was also always early in sending my newest auto insurance cards.

When I had a claim that was of no fault of my own, my insurance agent took care of everything. Because we did not know if the other person had, which they did not, I had to pay my deductible up front. Once it was determined that they other party was not insured, I was refunded my deductible and the claim was filed under my uninsured motorist. The only thing I had to do was go to the body shop and have my vehicle repaired.

They did very well when hitting a deer. There was extensive repair needed and cost was a good amount. They were very good at handling it from start to finish and not a hassle like others in the past. I do like working with them. They take a lot of details and I've no problem with that. They were also prompt to give a green light with the collision shop and they got right to work.

I had zero problem to contact the safeco agent when i was involved in that accident. The custom service is very easy to work with.
